Art Experiences
We turn collective experience into lasting, visual artifacts—co-created with people, not just for them—
merging art, memory, research, and engagement into a single, transformative process.

In-House Artshops
In-House Artshops turn your space into a creative studio where your group becomes the artist-in-residence. Instead of focusing on learning techniques, we design playful, guided activities that spark curiosity, connection, and creative confidence.
The goal isn’t perfect art, it’s creating conditions where creativity comes alive, and people rediscover the joy of making something together.
Each experience ends with a meaningful takeaway, whether it’s a small personal artwork, a shared collaborative piece, or visual insights that capture the group’s ideas and stories.

Our Favorite In-House Artshops LINEUP

Sip & Paint An Original Alla Prima
Skill-building · Original artwork · One sitting
A guided, beginner-friendly painting experience completed in one sitting. Participants learn foundational painting principles: story, color, and composition. Participants choose their own subject and imagery with curated color palettes, optional structures, and step-by-step guidance. Everyone creates a fully original artwork without templates or copying.
Ideal for people who want to learn skills and leave with a finished piece that feels truly theirs.

The Group Knows
Collective Resonance · Playful Magic · Relationship Building
A rotating group art experience where participants move in a circle, adding intuitive marks to multiple artworks. Each person begins with a personal question, then contributes to every piece along the way. When the rotation ends, the artwork returns to its origin, often offering unexpected insight, humor, and clarity shaped by the collective.
A joyful, low-pressure way to connect, loosen up, and experience the surprising intelligence of the arts.

Open HeART
Process-centered · Silent Creation · Self-Reflective
A quiet, inward-facing art experience focused entirely on process rather than outcome.
Participants create intuitively in silence with a variety of tactile materials, following impulse without discussion or instruction.
The session closes with journaling and the optional sharing of a single sentence without group analysis, feedback, or debrief.
This workshop creates space for emotional release, presence, and sense-making through intuitive, non-verbal expression.

Creative Workout
Strengthen Confidence · Team Building · Multi-Disciplinary Play
An interdisciplinary, playful, high-energy creative session using a mix of drawing, movement, writing, collage, and improvisational art games. Participants move quickly between mediums, take creative risks, and explore impulse, humor, and vulnerability in a supportive environment.
Designed to break patterns, spark laughter, and deepen connection among teams through shared experimentation and play.

Metaphor Atlas
Participatory Mapping · Meaning-Making · Strategic Planning
A guided, participatory mapping experience where groups collectively create a visual map using metaphor. Instead of a graphic recorder translating discussion into images, participants generate the visuals themselves shaping a shared map that makes complex ideas visible and navigable.
Especially effective for strategic planning, visioning, scaling, arts-based action research, and mapping legacy.

"Working with Melanie is an absolute dream. Melanie is kind and sparkly, and has a quality about her that can only be described as magical. She is a dreamer, but also a doer, and that rare combo means that what she creates is infused with so much love and skill. "
