‘Queer Joy’ 2024. Multi-media digital collage. Calgary, Canada.

What does queer joy look like?
It looks like 53 people co-creating a digital mural that celebrates identity, connection, and expression

This multi-campus collaboration between Mount Royal University, MacEwan University, Norquest College, and Olds College brought together over 70 participants on March 13, 2024, for a collective arts engagement focused on celebrating queer joy. The resulting digital mural, created by 53 contributors, was co-designed through an open call and group facilitation—forming a collage that reflects personal expression and shared experience across all four campuses.
